An attorney by training, John had a 25 year career in law enforcement and public administration. Prior to joining Carl R. Griffith & Associates, Inc., he spent 10 years in county government, where his portfolio included environmental, transportation, homeland security, criminal justice, grants and economic development matters. He is a graduate of Lamar University (B.A. and M.P.A) and South Texas College of Law, and has done graduate work in Security Studies (Homeland Security) at the Naval Postgraduate School.
