 Former United States Attorney John Ratcliffe serves as an advisor and consultant to CRG after serving the past four years as one of nation's highest ranking federal officials. As U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas, Mr. Ratcliffe served as the top federal law enforcement official and as the President's chief legal representative for the United States in a federal district covering more than 35,000 square miles that stretches from the Oklahoma border to the Gulf of Mexico. U.S. Attorney Ratcliffe successfully directed thousands of federal prosecutions involving terrorism, violent crime, drug trafficking, public corruption, corporate fraud, immigration and other federal crimes. In 2007, U.S. Attorney Ratcliffe was selected to serve on the Attorney General's Advisory Subcommittee on Terrorism and National Security, where he helped to formulate and revise national anti-terrorism strategies and initiatives. Prior to his appointment as U.S. Attorney, Mr. Ratcliffe was appointed in 2004 to serve as the Department of Justice's Chief of Anti-Terrorism and National Security for the Eastern District of Texas. In that role,  Mr. Ratcliffe was responsible for the prevention, investigation, disruption and prosecution of all international and domestic terrorism crimes, threats and activities throughout the federal district, including 43 Texas counties. Currently, Mr. Ratcliffe is consulting on bioterrorism, homeland security and defense contractor projects and was recently named to Texas A&M University's TEEX Advisory Board. Ratcliffe is currently in a legal and consulting practice with Former U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft.

 In addition to bringing an unparalleled breadth of expertise to CRG on government affairs, national security, homeland security and criminal justice matters, Mr. Ratcliffe also provides considerable experience to our group on economic development and municipal affairs. Mr. Ratcliffe is currently in his third term as Mayor of Heath, Texas, a community of more than 7,000 residents near Dallas. Under Ratcliffe's leadership as Mayor and as a Director of its Economic Development Corporation, the City of Heath enjoys the second lowest tax rate of any Dallas suburb and was recently recognized by D Magazine as one of the premier residential communities in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
