The Julie Rogers Special Service Award is presented annually to a person in Jefferson County "who in their chosen field have demonstrated a talent for making the world a better place in which to live, thereby fostering the mission and purpose of the Mental Health Association."

The Mental Health Association presented Judge Carl Griffith with the Julie Rogers Special Service Award for his continued dedication to the may communities of Southeast Texas and across the southern region.
